In this article I will highlight the pros and cons with multi-table playing in online casinos.
If you are new to poker you might perhaps be wondering, what is multi-table playing?
It means you play more than 1 table at the same time.
I can almost hear all the “one table players” asking why should I play more than one table?

Well, the most obvious reason is to make more money.
If you only play one table, you are missing out on some major profit opportunities.
It’s a known fact that most players with some experience will make more money by playing more tables.

Multi-table playing means lots of action, but also less time to make decision.
The fact is multi-table game is not for everyone.

So, perhaps you wonder are there any downside to multi-tabling?
The more tables you play the less time and focus will be spent on each table.
You might miss out on small details from the tables.

The downside of playing to many tables could lead you to play less well on each table.
Another problem is that the game can become quite mechanical, some people dislike that and therefore don’t like it, it’s just a matter of taste if you’re asking me.
When you feel that the multi-table game affect your results it is time to take a break or simply stop. Therefore is important to closely monitor your results.

What it all comes down to is that multi-tabling is not for everyone.

If you believe this game is for you, then start out with 2 tables, if it works out fine you can ad more. Some players are comfortable by playing 4, 8 or perhaps 12 tables.
Playing 8 tables or more are for a limited number of players. It's important to realize that the more tables you join the faster you have to analyze the situation and be able to make a fast decision in a short time frame. One other important thing is that you must be able to control your emotions, losing out on a few games can affect your emotions in a bad way. There is no question about it, poker multi-tabling is the best way to maximize profits. Good luck with your poker playing no matter if it’s 1 or 10 tables you prefer playing.
